Executive Director
Alice Overbey is currently employed as the Virginia
Account Manager for American Fidelity Assurance. Traveling throughout
the state, Alice works with niche industries in supplying benefits for
their employees. She formerly worked as a Senior Account Executive with
Style Weekly Magazine. She has worked with many non profits groups such
as Children’s Miracle Network, MADD and Race for the Cure on promotion
of their events through Style Weekly. Alice has taught modeling in the
Richmond area and has worked as a fashion consultant with Frances Kahn.
She has been involved in pageantry for the past 18 years and has trained
children through adults to compete in all areas of competition. Alice
is a certified judge in the Miss America program and has also judged in
the Miss USA system. In 1996 Alice won the title of Mrs. Virginia. Her
title allowed her the opportunity to become one of the state
spokespersons for the Alzheimer's Association. In 1996 she was the
Honorary Chairperson for Memory Walk in Richmond. Alice is the mother of
three children, Christopher, Brittany and Reece Gordon. Formerly Alice
Gordon, she and her husband Chuck Overbey make their home in Midlothian,
Virginia.
Executive Producer Candace Mraz-Nelson Candace is the Annual Gala Director for the American Heart Association’s Mid-Atlantic Affiliate. Candace is a seasoned hospitality industry professional, experienced in customer service, event marketing, planning and sales. Formerly an Account Executive with PAC Event Management, her background in creative development and planning has provided corporations and non-profit organizations complete strategic and event management. Candace is a professional member of both the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) and the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE). She serves as a general board member for the Miracle League of Richmond and is also a member of OPUS, a nonprofit networking organization designed to support the performing arts around Richmond and increase involvement. Candace was trained in classical ballet, tap, and jazz at Diane Hale School of Dance, Heritage School of Dance under the late Margaret Woodburn and the Concert Ballet of Virginia; she studied contemporary dance and music composition at Meredith College in Raleigh, NC. Candace is the mother of two children, Chaney and Alex. She and her husband, Craig, make their home in Ashland, Virginia.
Contestant Development Kyle Grinnage
Kyle is an Independent Director and National Senior Trainer for BeautiControl Cosmetics. Kyle is also an Image Consultant and Sales Associate for Bill Blass New York and the makeup artist who designed the current makeup look for the local NBC news reporters.
She has held many leadership positions, including the Mid-Atlantic Regional Director for Jack and Jill of America, Inc. She has served on numerous boards including the parents’ board of the Richmond Ballet. Currently, Kyle serves on the Chesterfield County Public School’s Technical Education Advisory Council and is a trustee of the Chesterfield County Public Education Foundation. Kyle is also a certified judge in the Miss America system.
Kyle was trained in ballet, jazz, modern & tap at The Dance Theater of Harlem and the Richmond Ballet. She has appeared in TV commercials and on several Dress Your Best For Less segments on the local NBC news.
She is a graduate of Long Island University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing. She resides in Midlothian, VA and is married to Kym Grinnage. One of their favorite hobbies is Latin dancing. They have two daughters, Kerri & Kendra.
